Perisno is a what people claim to be high fantasy, like, magic, elves and other fantasy races, but in practice, its a low-middle fantasy similar to Pendor, with both having demon worshipers, elves, but no magic aside from enchanted items, and both feature fairly realistic combat(aside from abilities, but whatever), and factions that base off from cultures, like Valahir/Friedsvain(Vikings), Drahara/D'Shar(Muslims), and so on.
Well, you may or may not remember me posting earlier about Pendor and on some posts, but after a while, and my tries of various stuff recently, I decided to revisit Perisno post-update - before I ended up crashing and burning even with mercenaries because of high tier deserters and other fast power parties right off the bat, but now that problem is gone - for better, or worse, but I'll explain:īefore, I had a problem with you know, Pendor tier tweaks to difficulty, but up to eleven, such as troublesome bandits quest spawning an bandit army despite the quest telling about low tier outlaws, now it spawns weak bandits - which is bad for loot, but good for relation, considering that good relations with villages/towns/lords allows them to periodically give you money in times of need, something that makes the endeavor worth the effort, because once you have many, many friends overall, you'll get a great amount of cash when you least expect it.īut enough of those initial things that I had before re-visiting it, let's explain things that changed my mind - not entirely of course, but by a major margin.
